Annabel Munn originally trained in ceramics at Bristol, specialising in all aspects of hand-building.

There has always been a strong narrative and sculptural element to her work.

In 1995 Annabel and her mother Gabrielle opened Peter's Barn Gallery which ran for 11 happy years.

During this time Annabel was responsible for curating and commissioning gallery exhibitions, sculpture garden and new work from establshed and new artists, running events and teaching ceramics whilst continuing her own work.

A driving principle was to inspire and foster an inclusive and open experience, allowing new visitors access to a broad spectrum of art and artists, and encouraging artists to expand on their work and experiment in a supportive environment.

Drawing has always played an integral part in Annabel's work.

Whether representational or abstract, -observation, experimentation and play are imperative in driving the work forward.
